Eco-Web is seeking an experienced biologist to be part of a multidisciplinary team looking after ecological, avian, fish and wildlife-based projects. The position is based out of Fort St. John and applicants are expected to be based locally for this work.

The Intermediate Biologist/Project Manager role involves:

  • Technical Reporting
  • Mitigation Planning & Fieldwork
  • Long hours in the field
  • Working in difficult conditions/inclement weather

Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 5-10 years experience in a similar role
  • BSc or MSc in Biology or equivalent qualifications & experience
  • Registered Professional Biologist designation is required
  • Wildlife mitigation planning
  • Wildlife assessments
  • Fish/stream surveys
  • Hydrometric surveys
  • Breeding bird surveys
  • Nest migration/monitoring
  • Wildlife research
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Project management background is essential
