Reclamation
Services

The goal of reclamation is to restore disturbed lands to a stable, productive state that aligns with pre-disturbance conditions or intended future land use. Ecological consultants play a key role in designing and implementing reclamation plans that consider soil health, vegetation, hydrology, and wildlife habitat.

Eco-Web’s Professional Agrologists have experience with overseeing reclamation processes from initial assessments to receipt of a Certificate of Restoration. This process can include well abandonment, contamination investigation, remediation and supervision of surface restoration including supervising heavy equipment.

Project management ensures that each stage in the reclamation process is done properly and is documented fully and correctly.  In addition to overseeing site restoration, Eco-Web can provide pre-construction inspections to Schedule A criteria to ensure that the initial stages of development are completed accurately.

Ecological Restoration

Using a strategic combination of science, environmental planning, and land management Eco-Web works with our clients to reestablish the structure, diversity, and dynamics of native ecosystems. Through careful planning and execution, we are able to restore their ability to support wildlife, regulate water cycles, and sustain biodiversity.

We provide expert assessments of environmental conditions in order to develop site-specific strategies to restore ecological balance. By conducting baseline ecological surveys we are able to design restoration plans that align with environmental regulations and sustainability goals, ensuring long-term success and compliance.

Pre Construction Site Inspections

Pre-construction site inspections are a critical first step in successful reclamation projects, provicing baseline data about the environmental conditions of a site before any disturbance occurs. These inspections are used to inform the development of effective reclamation plans.

Early identification of potential challenges—such as compacted soils, invasive species, or hydrological constraints—allows for the integration of adaptive strategies from the outset which help to achieve long-term reclamation success. By identifying sensitive areas such as wetlands, rare plant habitats, or erosion-prone slopes, our ecological consultants can design mitigation strategies that minimize environmental impacts and facilitate more efficient and targeted restoration efforts after construction.
